Text | Services for Mrs. Cora Hudson, 89 years old,
who died Thursday night in a Cassville rest home was held at 2 o'clock
Sunday afternoon in Culver's Chapel. The Rev. Raymond Chappell officiated
and burial was made in the Cedar Mound cemetery near Jenkins. Mrs. Hudson, widow of the late Joseph Hudson, was a long time resident of the Jenkins community east of Cassville. She was born August 5, 1870, in Mineral Springs. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Everett Jordan and Mrs. Ruth Loftin, both of Cassville; three sons, George Hudson, Warden, Wash., Sam Hudson, Jenkins and Fred Hudson of Gridley, Calif.; a brother Everett McKinley, Henryetta, Okla.; three sisters, Mrs. Maude Owens, Sylvia, Kan., Miss Lenna McKinney, Shawnee, Okla., and Miss Pearl McKinney, Los Angeles, Calif.; 27 grandchildren, 60 great-grand children, and eight great-great-grandchildren. |
