Obit For Charles Joseph Hudson
Headline SERVICE SUNDAY FOR CHARLEY J. HUDSON
Text Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, Nov. 2 at 2:30 p.m. at the Cassville Church of Christ for Charley J. Hudson, 66-year-old Barry County native who passed away on Tuesday morning in Springfield Baptist Hospital where he had been a patient for six days.

Mr. Hudson, whose home was two miles east of Cassville on Flat Creek, had been an invalid since 1946 when he was injured while working for Forest Products Company. He was a carpenter, having worked in California and Alaska. Born on a farm near Jenkins, he was one of a family of 13 children. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Cassville.

Besides his wife, the former Lela Stumpff, he is survived by his mother, Mrs. Ada Hudson of Cassville and ten children: Mrs. Velma Snead of Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Lucille Simmons of Lapwai, Idaho; Harvey Hudson of Bremerton, Wash.; Joe Hudson of Wendall, Idaho; Wanda Valloton of Belmont, Calif.; Geo. Hudson and Allen Hudson of Ridgecrest, Calif.; Claude of the U.S. Army now stationed in France; Loyd of the U.S. Army, now stationed in Okinawa and Mrs. Yvonne Swofford of Sarcoxie. Survivors also include two sisters, Mrs. E. E. Jordan and Mrs. M. M. Loftin, both of Cassville; three brothers, Sam Hudson of Jenkins, George Hudson of Warden, Wash., and Fred Hudson of Gridley, Calif.

Interment will be in Mineral Springs Cemetery.
