Text | Mrs. Nannie E. Hubbard, wife of J. W. Hubbard of this city, died Wednesday afternoon, January 30, 1924 at the age of 73 years, 6 months and 26 days.
She had been afflicted for years with asthma but not until recently did her
condition become acute. Nannie E. McMahan was born July 4, 1850 near Rocky Comfort. She was married to J. W. Hubbard November 15, 1874. To this union were born three children. The oldest of these children, a former wife of Dr. O. S. McCall, died about 23 years ago. The other two, Mrs. O. S. Prickett and B. D. Hubbard survive her. She was converted in the year of 1905 and became a member of the Baptist church at Rocky Comfort. Funeral services were conducted by Revs. Carlin and Tichenor at the Baptist Church here Thursday afternoon and the body buried in the cemetery at Rocky Comfort. |
