| Text | Margaret Rebecca Jane Hooker was born near Seligman, Jan. 8, 1861. Passed from this life August 23, 1937, at the age of 76 years, 7 months and 15 days. Surviving her are five children; Bert of Kansas City; Mrs. Clarence Fawyer of Ft. Worth, Texas; Mrs. C.A. Reed of near Seligman; and M.C. Hooker of Kansas City. One son, John R., precede her in death. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 1 great grand-child. Mrs. Hooker was a member of the Christian church. Funeral services are being held this afternoon, Thursday, Aug. 26, at the Bayless church, conducted by Monte Taylor of Cassville, Burial will be in the Bayless Cemetery, Horine-Culver, Cassville undertakers in charge.
