Text | Phil Holt, an old time citizen of this county, died at his home near Exeter, Monday afternoon, following an extended illness with kidney and heart ailment. Mr. Holt had resided in this county many years and a few years ago he lived north of Cassville, on Flat Creek moving form there to his last Creek, moving from there to his last home near Exeter. He was a farmer, a hard worker, and a man that was well liked by his acquaintances. He was about 65 years old and leaves some children. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. C. M. Smith at Exeter Wednesday afternoon, after remains were laid to rest in the cemetery at the place under direction of the Barr Undertaking Co., of Exeter.
