| Text | Services for Stephen John Holmes, 44, Wheaton, who died at 6:40 pm Saturday at Sale Memorial Hospital, Neosho, after suffering an apparent heart attack, will be held at 2 pm Tuesday at McQueen Funeral Home. The Rev. Russell Davis will officiate. Burial will be in Rocky Comfort Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 pm today at the funeral home, where friends may call after 4 pm until service hour. Mr. Holmes was born Jan. 20, 1939 in Newton County. He was a farmer and a lifelong resident pf the area. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. He married Carolyn Coatney on July 12, 1958 pm in Fairview. Survivors include his mother, two sons, one sister and three grandchildren. |
