Text | February 6, 1913, Thursday, Cassville Republican, Barry Co., MO Horace Holman of Webb City died Saturday of miner's consumption. He had been afflicted for some months. He was raised on Rock Creek near Mano and leaves many relatives in that community. His remains were brought down Sunday morning from Webb City for burial. February 20, 1913, Thursday, Cassville Republican, Barry Co., MO Accident News: Died, March [February] 8, 1913, at the home of his sister, Mrs. Effie Davis, Horace Holman of miner's consumption, age 27, 4 months, and 17 days. He had been sick for some time. He leaves a wife, a little girl, four brothers, four sisters and other relatives and friends to mourn their loss. His remains were brought down from Joplin the 9th, and laid to rest in the Mano Cemetery. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Chappell. Accident News: Will and James Holman's sisters who have been down here since Sunday have returned home. Rock Creek News: Horace Holman of Joplin was buried at Mano Sunday the 9th. He died of consumption. Rock Creek News: Miss Edna Holman and sister, Jess returned to Kansas City, Sunday after spending a few days with their brothers, James and Will Holman.
