| Text | Geraldine L. Hill, 83, of Monett, died at 2:23 a.m.,
yesterday, July 4th, at Cox Monett Hospital, following a long illness. Mrs. Hill was born September 27, 1922, in Exeter, the daughter of Robert and Goldie (Keeling) May. She was a cook at Lacoba Nursing Home in Monett and attended the First Baptist Church in Purdy. She married Clovie LeRoy Hill in February, 1958, in Neosho, and he preceded her in death in 1972. Survivors include three brothers. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, July 7, at Bennett-Wormington Chapel in Monett with Dr. David May officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Butterfield under the direction of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home of Monett. Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home. |
