| Text | Clark News: We understand that Mrs. Higgs, widow of the late Alex Higgs, died last Friday night of cancer. The funeral took place at the New Hope church Sunday the 10th inst. and buried in the Higgs family graveyard on the old homestead.
Butterfield News: Aunt Margaret Higgs passed away at her home Friday night at 8 p.m. and her remains were laid to rest at the family cemetery Sunday. Research Note: Her death certificate says she was buried at Mt. Pleasant which is in error. Actually buried at Higgs Cemetery and shares a stone with her husband Alexander Higgs. |
