| Text | Abstract Morris "Hook" Hensley, 91, of Monett, died yesterday, June 6, at Cox Monett Hospital. Mr. Hensley was born March 24, 1916, in Clinton, Arkansas, the son of Ben and Kate Simpson Hensley. He was a retired Frisco Railroad engineer. He married Myradell Vinson on August 3, 1946, in Columbus, Kansas, and she survives. Additional survivors include one son, one daughter, three sisters, seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at Monett IOOF Cemetery with Bryan Cook, pastor, officiating under the direction of Buchanan Funeral Home of Monett. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow, June 8, at the funeral home. |
