| Text | Sarah Ann Henry passed away at her home on Greasy Creek, January 21, at the age of 89 years and 3 days old. She was united in marriage to John Price Henry on March 11, 1883, who preceded her in death in 1947. To this union was born eight children, seven sons and one daughter who preceded her in death in 1915. The sons are:Isaac, Walter, Jackson, Lafayette, Thomas and George all of Washburn and Fred of Seligman; three sisters, Mrs. Ada Harrison, Nyssa, Oregon; Mrs. Belle Gilbert, Carrollton; Mrs. Rosa Boman, Seneca; 22 grandchildren, 71 great grandchildren, 20 great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. She was a member of the Mission Baptist church at O. K. She was always ready to help anyone in time of sickness and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Research Note: Mrs. Rosa Boman was the wife of John Wilkerson Boman and maiden name Rosa Mae Ford. |
