Text | Mrs. Nona Henry wife of Joe Henry of this section, died Aug. 23, 1922,
with something like apoplexy, aged 26 years. She was the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Pallett of near Cassville on the McCary farm, and was
a member of the Rock Springs Baptist Church and had been for several years
and was a good woman. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, father, mother, a sister Miss Mary Pallett at home near Cassville, Bland Pallett of Kansas City, James and Lee Pallett at home near Cassville and a number of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Chas. Vanzandt of Exeter. The remains were ____ in the P. E. Roller cemetery. (If there was more to this one it was torn off) Mrs. Arthur Burnett of Dewey, Okla., attended the funeral of her niece Mrs. Joe Henry. Quite a number from Cassville, Exeter and Washburn, attended the funeral of Mrs. Joe Henry. Research Note: Mrs. Nona (Pallett) Henry, 1896 - 1922 Given name was Benona. Wife of Joe Henry. Daughter of William Burgan and Nancy (McCary) Pallett. Buried in King Cemetery AKA P. E. Roller Cemetery. Death certificate says she was buried at Washburn Prairie Cemetery which is incorrect. |
