| Headline | Lifelong Barry County Resident Dies at 87 |
| Text | John Price Henry, 87 years old, died at 1 o'clock this morning in his home west of Washburn. He was a life time resident of Barry County. He fell and broke his leg 18 months ago and was bedfast until his death. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in the home, with the Rev. Nathan Stephens officiating. Burial will be in the Roller cemetery, west of Washburn, under direction of the of the Koon funeral home. Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Sarah Ann Henry; seven sons, Isaac C., Walter E., Andrew J., John F., Thomas and George Henry, all of Washburn, and Fred Henry of Seligman; 22 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Research Note: He is buried in King's Cemetery, south of Washburn - not west of Washburn. Sometimes people call that cemetery Roller. |
