| Text | Vaudie Hendrix, 66, Washburn, route 1, died shortly before 1 a.m. Monday, January
22 at Cardwell Memorial Hospital, Stella, where he had been a patient one
day following a heart attack. He was born May 23, 1912, near Washburn and was a retired farmer and stockman. Surviving is a son; three daughters; his mother, Mrs. Carrie Goff, Seligman; nine brothers and three sisters; nine grandchildren . Services were at 1 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church west of Washburn. Rev. John Selleck officiated. Burial was in Roller Cemetery near the church. Research Note: 1979 handwritten on bottom of obit. Son of Thomas Hendrix and Carrie Norman. His wife was Helen Marie Henry, divorced. |
