Text | Abstract - Thomas Clifton "Cliff" Hendrix, age 75, of Washburn, died on Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2006, at his home following a lengthy illness. He was born on Sept. 7, 1931, in Washburn, and was a son of Bud and Mildrend (Henry) Hendrix. He served in the Army and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was of the Baptist faith, past member of the Southwest School Board, road commissioner and past president of the Southwest Saddle Club. He was a carpenter by trade and in his early years worked on grain elevators. He was a farmer. He married Elizabeth J. Powers in Berryville, AR, June 25, 1955. He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Kenneth Lavern and Robert Franklin. Services were held Saturday at the White Funeral Home in Cassville. Burial was with Military Funeral Honors by the Missouri National Guard Armory Juliet Team, at the King Cemetery, Seligman. |
