Earl Marion Henderson, died at age 92. He was of Purdy, and died at 9:58 p.m. March 14 at Cox Monett Hospital following a sudden illness. Mr. Henderson was born April 12, 1912, in Purdy, the son of Wesley and Gertrude Wormington Henderson.

He was a farmer and businessman. He graduated from Purdy High School in 1930 and was a member of the Macedonia Freewill Baptist Church in Purdy. He married Nota Ruth Mizer on December 21, 1933, in Purdy, and she preceded him in death October 26, 2001.

Survivors include one daughter, Doris Sisco of Purdy; two sons, Richard Henderson of Monument, Colorado, and David Henderson of Springfield; one sister, Naomi Ferguson of Cassville; seven grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim Henderson and Ralph Davis; and one sister, Ruby Rickman.

Services will be 10 a.m. tomorrow, March 17, at Bennett-Wormington Chapel in Monett with Rev. Lee Neill officiating. Burial will be in Arnhart Cemetery near Purdy under the direction of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home of Monett. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, March 16, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Monett Senior Center or Loaves and Fishes.

Services for Earl M. Henderson, age 92, of Purdy, MO, who died March 14, were held at 10 a.m. yesterday, March 17, at Bennett-Wormington Chapel in Monett with Rev. Lee Neill officiating. Music was provided by Bob and Sue Mizer, Bill Mizer, Wilma Hall, and Carole Garrison who sang Amazing Grace and What A Friend We Have In Jesus. Pianist was Sammye Beck. Casketbearers were Michael Henderson, Greg Brownfield, Brian Sisco, Tad Dailey, Wesley Henderson, Austin Drake, Trenton Dailey, and Derek Dailey. Burial was in Arnhart Cemetery near Purdy under the direction of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home of Monett.
