| Text | Imogene Henderson, 68, Purdy, died at 10 a.m. Monday Sept. 2, 1996, at her home after a long illness. Mrs. Henderson was born April 15, 1928 in Purdy and was a lifetime resident. Daughtet of Chester and Zettie (May) Rhea. She was a 1946 graduate of Purdy High School. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Purdy, Monett Ladies Gold League and Cassville Ladies League. She married Morris Henderson on April 26, 1947, at Wichita, Kan. He survives. Additional survivors include two sons, a daughter; four brothers, two sisters; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, Purdy. The Rev. Jerry Fransico and the Rev. Bob Neely will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, southwest of Purdy. Arrangements are under the direction of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home Monett. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Quality Health Care and Hospice of Cassville, in care of the funeral home. |
