Text | Another young man has been taken from our place. Edward Henderson died Sunday, July 14, after an illness of more than a year of lung trouble. He went to Cassville school several years ago, been to Springfield. He was the mail carrier in Monett, then mail clerk. After his health began to fail he took a trip out west which failed to help him. He came back to his old home last November where he remained until his death. He was very patient through his sickness and ready for his Master's call. He leaves a father, mother, two sisters and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his loss. Our loss is Heaven's gain. He was 27 years old. Rev. Smith preached the funeral after which the remains were buried in King's Prairie cemetery. May God bless the bereaved relatives. |
