| Text | Betty Henderson, 86, of Washburn died April 14, 2006. She was born Jan. 21, 1920, in Abilene, Kan., to John and Rosie Atnip. She moved to Arkansas in 1956 and later retired from Daisy Manufacturing in Rogers. She enjoyed fishing and horse and wagon rides. She was a former resident of Bentonville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Henderson. Survivors include two daughters of Washburn and Stillwater, OK.; one sister of Holden, Mo.; one cousin of Abilene, Kan.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Bentonville Cemetery. She will be transported to the cemetery by a horse drawn wagon. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Bentonville. |
