Text | Roger A. Henbest, 89, of Cassville, died August 1 at South Barry County
Hospital in Cassville. Mr. Henbest was born March 11, 1911, in Barry County, the son of William and Ocie Ball Henbest. He was educated at Butterfield School and was a farmer. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Cassville. He married Clarice Wooten on August 15, 1942, in Berryville, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Homer Henbest and Clifford Henbest; and three sisters, Thelma Nickle, Ruby Homesley, and Imogene Boyd. Services will be 2 p.m. tomorrow, August 4, at Fohn Chapel in Cassville with Rev. Paul Watson and Rev. Elvis Dudley officiating. Graveside services will be in Horner Cemetery in Cassville with Rev. Paul Yarnall officiating under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home of Cassville. Military graveside rites will be conducted by Hobbs-Anderson Post 91 Monett American Legion. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, August 3, at the funeral home. |
