| Text | Eula Hemphill, 94, of Purdy died Feb. 24, 1996, at Hindsville, AR. She was born Oct. 19, 1901, in Purdy. She was a homemaker and a member of Arnhart Baptist Church and was a lifetime resident of Purdy. She was preceded in death Dec. 25, 1972, by her husband, Virgil Hemphill, to whom she was married Oct. 3, 1920; one son. Survivors include a daughter of Hindsville; two sisters, Lena Coones and Myrtle Coffey, both of Purdy. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Arnhart Baptist Church near Purdy. Burial will be in Arnhart Cemetery. Arrangements are by Bennett - Wormington Funeral Home of Monett, Mo. Memorials may be made to Arnhart Cemetery Fund, in care of the funeral home, or Buck Vaughan Scholarship Fund, c/o Valley Branch bank of Hindsville, 72738.
