Text | Louise Heim, 87, of Monett, died at 11 a.m. yesterday, February 26, at Cox Medical
Center South in Springfield. Mrs. Heim was born November 24, 1914, in Lamar, the daughter of Simon Frank and Daisy (Dean) Hall Washburn. She was a homemaker, a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Monett, Parish Council of Catholic Women, Victory Homemaker's Extension Club, Pleasant Dale Extension Club, and the Pinochle Club. She married Max Heim on June 10, 1936, in Lamar, and he preceded her in death July 26, 1985. She was preceded in death by two sons, Paul and John; three brothers, Francis Washburn, Melvin Washburn, and Jay Washburn; and two sisters, Opal Greiner and Ethel Dermott. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, March 1, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Monett with Father Allan Saunders officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery near Monett under the direction of Buchanan Funeral Home of Monett. Rosary will be 6:30 p.m. tomorrow, February 28, at the funeral home with visitation to follow. Memorials may be made to John Heim Scholarship Fund or the church. |
