Ann Hayden, 77, of Shell Knob, died February 6
at her daughter's home in Shell Knob. Mrs. Hayden was born December 5, 1923, in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Clarence M. "Jim" and Gladys M. (Hoag) Morrison. She was a graduate of Topeka High School in Topeka, Kansas, and moved to Shell Knob in 1976. She and her husband operated Hayden Real Estate in Shell Knob. She was a member of S.O.L.O., the Shell Knob Bridge Club, and Trinity Presbyterian Church in Shell Knob. She married Sam B. Hayden on August 6, 1942, in Galveston, Texas, and he preceded her in death July 9, 1986. She was preceded in death by one brother, Sam Morrison; and one sister, Sydney Schmolze. Services will be 10:30 a.m. tomorrow, February 9, at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Shell Knob with Rev. Denzel Nonhof officiating. Burial will be in Painter Cemetery in Shell Knob under the direction of Williamson Funeral Home of Shell Knob. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, February 8, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the church building fund, Carroll Regional Hospice, or the American Cancer Society. |
