Text | Nova Ruth Hart, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Pilant, was born September 24, 1912, near Cassville. She departed this life at 1' o'clock a. m. March 31, 1942 at the age of 29 years, 6 months and 7 days. She was first married to Verl Hart on May 16, 1933. He preceded her in death o July 27, 1937. Surviving of her immediate family are one son, Maurice Glenden and one daughter, Catherine Ruth; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Pilant; four brothers; Fred and Aubrey of Cassville; Arthur of Alexandria, La.; and Lewis of Monett; four sisters; Myrl Coatney of Pioneer; Mildred Keeling of Cassville; Marjorie and Dorothy of the home address. She was converted at Merle's Chapel in 1939 and had lived a consecrated Christian life. She was patient through all her suffering and expressed her readiness to go. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, April 2, at the Merle's Chapel, conducted by the Rev. O.M. Ennes, and assisted by Rev. W. K. Weston, and Rev. Ab Edie. Burial was in Sparks Cemetery, with the Horine-Culver Undertakers in charge. Carrying the flowers were: Mrs. Ada Williamson, Mrs. Lela Edie, Miss Cecil Lowery, Mrs. Nadine Lowe, Mrs. Ferne Low, Mrs. Ruby Baker, Miss Mary Lowe and Miss Edith Painter. The pall bearers were: J. B. Lowe, Loren Lowe, Herman Lowe, Ross Edwards, Carl Edwards, and Joe Edwards. No date on this one: Mrs. Ruth Pilant Hart passed away early Tuesday morning following a lingering illness at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Pilant, 1 mile northeast of Cassville, on Flat creek, age 29 years old. Funeral services are being held this afternoon, Thursday, April 2, at the Merls' Chapel, northeast of Cassville four miles. The services are being conducted by Rev. Ol. M. Ennes, Rev. W. K. Weston of Monett, and Rev. Albert Edie. Buriel will be in the Sparks cemetery, with the Horine-Culver undertakers in charge. She is survived by a little son, Morris, six years old, and a little daughter, Catherine, seven months old; her parents, and eight brothers and sisters.
