| Text | Frank E. Hardwick, aged about 20 years, a well known young man of near Golden, shot and killed himself at his home early in the afternoon Thursday
of last week. Despondency in believed to have been the cause. The young man
had been ill from rheumatism for many months and it is supposed he thought
death for relief. The shot took effect near the heart and death came
instantly. The funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon and the remains interred in the Viney Cemetery. |
