| Text | Nora Marguerette Hankins, 77, of Pierce City, died at 8:45 p.m. yesterday, July 9, at her home. Mrs. Hankins was born April 15, 1923, in Port Arthur, Texas, the daughter of L. A. and Lillian (White) Reed. She was a member of the Mother's Club, Railroad Retirement Club, and First Baptist Church of Monett. She was a homemaker. She married James L. Hankins on December 6, 1946, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and he preceded her in death February 14, 1991. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 12, at the First Baptist Church in Monett with Dr. Michael Block officiating. Burial will be in Monett IOOF Cemetery under the direction of Buchanan Funeral Home of Monett. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. tomorrow, July 11, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the church or Hospice of Southwest Missouri. |
