| Text | Mrs. Laura Hankins, wife of J. L. Hankins of Hugoton, Kan., died Thursday of last week. The remains were shipped to Peirce [Pierce] City where interment was
made at the Mount Olive Cemetery Sunday. The deceased has many relatives and friends about [around] Fairview, Newton County, where she formerly lived. Mr. Hankins is a son of S. T. Hankins, northwest of town, and is well known here. He has the sympathy of all in his deepest hour of sorrow. |
