Text | Another summons has been issued from that glory land, calling another good citizen and woman to that sweet land of rest, so beautifully promised to those who seek it and live the life on earth. Mrs. Wm. Haney died Wednesday, July 28, at her home 1 mile south of Mano, of lung trouble. She enjoyed the high esteem and respect of all her acquaintances. She was a member of the Apostolic Church. She left her husband and five sons to mourn her going, who are: Floyd, Lester, Burke, Morris, and Orville. Rev. Vanover conducted funeral services at the home Thursday evening and interment was made in Mano Cemetery. Research Note: Daisy D. Davis, age 19, married Will M. Haney on Nov. 29, 1892 in Canadian, OK. Daughter of Alexander A. Davis and Christine McDowell. (OK Marriage Records) |
