| Text | Scott Allen Hancock, 33, of Monett, died April 18 from injuries sustained in a car fire at the home of his mother. Mr. Hancock was born October 22, 1970, in Aurora. He was a 1989 graduate of Monett High School. He was a backhoe operator and attended Faith Church in Monett. He married Tracy Dodd on May 22, 2000, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Survivors include one son, one daughter, his parents, Larry and Rose Stubblefield Hancock of Monett; one brother, his grandmothers, Betty Stubblefield of Aurora and Pat Mason of Monett; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Services will be 2 p.m. tomorrow, April 21, at Crafton-Cantrell Chapel in Aurora with Danny Evans officiating. Burial will be in Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora under the direction of Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home of Aurora. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today, April 20, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Hancock Children Trust Fund. |
