Text | Maxine Perdue Hall, 92, of Cassville, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at Cassville Health Care and Rehab.
She was born Oct. 16, 1919, in Osage, Ark., the daughter of Charles Marion and Nettie Cora (Foster) Perdue. On April 22, 1940, in Cassville, she was united in marriage to Lavanis Wilburn Hall, who preceded her in death on Feb. 4, 2000. Also preceding her in death were her parents, one brother and five sisters. Survivors include: one son, Gary Hall and his wife, Debbie, of Cassville; one daughter, Frankie Jean Still and her husband, Don, of Cassville; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and four great-great- grandchildren. She graduated from Joplin High School and continued her education at SMS where she received her bachelor of science degree. She later received her master's degree from Drury University. She taught school for 35 years and retired from Southwest R-5 Schools on May 15, 1980. She was a long-time member of Community Faith Chapel in Cassville. Graveside services were held Friday at Maplewood Cemetery, Exeter, under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Pastor Doyle Russell conducted the services. |
