Text | Monett, Mo., Nov. 11 - Walter W. Hagar, a retired railroad man, died at 8 o'clock last night in St. Vincent's hospital here after a long illness. He was 44 years, before his retirement two years ago. The family resided in Joplin many years ago. Surviving are his widow, Jennie Hagar, at the home, 804 Fourth street, and three sons, Edwin Hagar of Tulsa, William E. Hagar of Denver, Colo., and Russell Hagar of Monett. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon in the Mercer funeral home chapel. The Rev. Fred Schmidtke will officiate and burial will be in I.O.O.F. cemetery. |
