| Text | Katherine Haddock, age 91, of Cassville, died at 1:20 A.M. yesterday, September 23, at Barry County Care Center in Cassville. Mrs. Haddock was born September 29, 1907, in Alton, the daughter of James Henry and Allie Galloway Thomas. She graduated from Cassville High School in 1926, attended Douglas Business College in Springfield for two years, and was deputy Barry County collector for 24 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Cassville Autumn Leaf Club, Cassville Garden Club, and Celestia Chapter of the Order of the Easter Star. She married John Henry Haddock on March 5, 1933, and he preceded her in death in March of 1980. And the survivors include one son, one grandchild and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by one brother, Otto Thomas; and one sister, Merle Thomas. Services will be 10 A.M. tomorrow, September 25, at Fohn Chapel in Cassville with Rev. John Duncan officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Cassville under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home of Cassville. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 P.M. today, September 24, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Life Center at the church. |
