Text Funeral services for Mrs. Gertrude M. Haddock, 82 who died at 5 PM, Sunday, April 21st at St. Vincent's Hospital following a short illness, will be at 2 PM Thursday at First Baptist Church, Monett. Rev. Grady Cockerham will officiate. Burial will be in King's Prairie Cemetery, southeast of Monett, under the direction of Buchanan Funeral Home Monett.

Mrs. Haddock was born April 9, 1892 at Purdy. She had lived in Monett for the last 32 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Her husband Samuel Haddock died in January of 1935.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs Della Harris, Rosemead, California, Mrs. Susie Lansdown, Neosho, and Mrs. Juanita Pence, Carthage; four sons, Rev. Warren Haddock, Joplin, Norman Haddock, Pierce City, Gene Haddock, Lamar, Colorado and Aaron Haddock, Springfield, Colorado; two sisters, Mrs. Lottie Douthitt, Anderson, MO. and Mrs. Myrtle Carroll the State of California; 24 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.


Gertie was 82 years, 0 months, and 12 days old at her death.
