| Text | Rethel L. Green, 94, of Pierce City, died yesterday, September 14, at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield. Mrs. Green was born May 18, 1906, in Nixa, the daughter of John and Ethel (Kimmons) Gahn. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. She married Herbert Green on July 15, 1936, and he preceded her in death in 1955. Survivors include two sons, of Monett and of Pierce City; one daughter, of Mt. Vernon; 31 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. tomorrow, September 16, at Monett IOOF Cemetery with Rev. Harold Wright officiating under the direction of Lakin Funeral Home of Pierce City. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon tomorrow at the funeral home. |
