| Text | Melba Eileen Green, 87, of Cassville died April 21, 2009, in Barry County Care Center. She was born Nov. 26, 1921, in Drumright, Okla., to Orion Glenn and Amandaline Findley Whitney. She attended Cassville United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker and a volunteer at the Senior Center. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Grant Wire Leneaux, on Feb. 13, 1951, Eulus Herbert Pendergraft, in 1956, and Robert William "Bob" Green, on Dec. 31, 1985. Survivors include two daughters; a brother; six grandchildren; 25 great- grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildreb. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Burial will be on the family farm. Contributions may be made to the Cassville Senior Center. |
