Text | Robert W. Graham, 69, of Shell Knob, died at 1:32 a.m. April 14 at Carroll Regional Medical Center in Berryville, Arkansas, following a brief illness. Mr. Graham was born March 4, 1930, in Evanston, Illinois, the son of Gordon and Edith Cloyes Graham. He was an Army veteran of the Korean conflict and received a master's degree in 1954 from the University of Illinois. He was a commodities grain merchandiser with Farmland Industries in St. Louis and Overland Park, Kansas, and moved to Shell Knob in 1984. He was a member of the Trinity Presbyterian Church in Shell Knob, a member of the Central Crossing 674 AF&AM Masonic Lodge and a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason. He was a member of the Abou Ben Adhem Shrine Temple in Springfield and the Shell Knob Shrine Club. He married Mary Carter on March 22, 1951, in Champaign, Illinois, and she survives. Additional survivors include one son, Gordon Graham of Shell Knob; three daughters, Gayle Johnson of Topeka, Kansas, Paula Collins of Shawnee, Kansas, and Mary Guy of Garland, Texas; one brother, Gordon Graham of DeKalb, Illinois; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Memorial services will be held at a later date under the direction of Williamson Funeral Home of Shell Knob. Memorials may be made to the Shriner Crippled Children's Home. |
