| Headline | Mrs. Sam Gilmore Dead |
| Text | Mrs. Sam Gilmore died at her home in Butterfield, Wednesday, July 10, of cancer of the stomach, at the age of 72 years. The funeral was held Thursday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Ed Chappell of the city. Ms. Gilmore had been twice married and was the mother of four children. Will Gilmore of Butterfield is the only child of the last marriage. The family lived for many years at Mano where Mr. Gilmore was in the mercantile business. She is spoken of in high regard by all who knew her, as a most excellent woman. |
