| Headline | An Old Settler Gone |
| Text | The residents of our city were shocked to learn this morning that one of the old settlers of the city, Mr. H. M. Gilmore was dead. Few knew that he was sick and his sudden taking off was a great shock to his many friends. He died this morning at 5 O'clock of rheumatism of the heart after a short illness. The deceased was a man of sterling worth, honest and upright in all his dealings. The funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at the family residence at 10:30 a.m. |
