Text | The circle of another home has been broken, with time passing swiftly on that brought sadness to a happy family when the death angel hovered around his form and bade him go to the other world of glory, there to bask in the sunlight of the Great Redeemer. Willie Russell Gillman was born to Geo. E. and Mary A. Gillman, May 14, 1903 and died April 26 1919, of influenza and pneumonia, aged 15 years, 11 months and 12 days. He leaves father, mother, one brother, one sister and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. He was a pupil of the freshman Class in the Wheaton high school and will be greatly missed by his classmates. He was a very kind and obedient child and loved by all that knew him. Rev. Chas. Vanzandt, of Exeter, conducted funeral services in the home and another service at the Baptist Church in Wheaton at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 27. The remains were taken to Rocky Comfort Cemetery where they were interred. |
