| Text | Mrs. Jo Ann "Jody" Gibson, 82, of Monett, Missouri passed away at 11:40 a.m. Sunday, February 1, 2009 at Lacoba Nursing Home, Monett, Mo. She was born May 31, 1926 in Grove, Ok., the daughter of the late Rolin & Nellie (Corbett) Dummitt. Jody was a homemaker. She attended First United Methodist Church in Monett and was a member of the Tom Wolfe Memorial #4207 Auxiliary. Along with her husband, she is survived by one son; one daughter; five grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. Along with her parents, Jody was also preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and Robert Dummitt. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Monett I. O. O. F. Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 3, 2009 form 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. at Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home, Monett, Mo. Memorials may be made to the VFW or Loaves and Fishes in care of the funeral home. |
