Obit For Pearl (May) Ghan
Headline MRS. PEARL GHAN DIES
Text Mrs. Pearl Ghan, wife of Otis Ghan, died at her home in Wheaton, August 4th after an illness of several months. Her death was caused by a complication of diseases. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dan May of Exeter. She was born October 18, 1903. Age 25 years, 10 months and 9 days. She was married to Otis Ghan December 24, 1925. To this union two children were born, one having preceding her in death.

She was converted in 1923 and united with the Antioch Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Otis Ghan, one son, Verdain, her father and mother, six brothers and three sisters, two brothers and sisters in laws. Also a number of other relatives and a host of friends to mourn her death. Through all her sickness she was very patient. She was a kind and loving wife and mother, and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services were conducted at the Muncey Chapel, north of Wheaton on Sunday afternoon, August 5th by Rev. Chas. Vanzandt. Burial in the Muncey Cemetery, under the direction of the Pogue Undertaking Service. A very large assembly of neighbors and friends gathered to pat a tribute of respect to her memory.
