Text | Lindsey Orville Galyen Sr., 82, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, formerly of Seligman, died February 2 at Sanbridge Rehabilitation Center in Fayetteville, Tennessee. Mr. Galyen was born November 11, 1917, in Garfield, Arkansas, the son of Wesley Arthur and Bertha Pippin Galyen. He was a 1937 graduate of Cassville High School and a 1941 graduate of the University of Missouri. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army Air Force. He owned and operated a cheese plant in Mena, Arkansas, and was a commercial real estate broker in Van Buren, Arkansas. He was owner and operator of a motel in Gallatin, Tennessee, retiring in 1990. He was a Baptist. Survivors include two sons, one daughter, one brother, two sisters and five grandchildren. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. tomorrow, February 5, in King Cemetery in Seligman under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home of Cassville. |
