| Text | Goldie Viola (Harris) (Beaver) Galyen, 92, Cassville, died Saturday, March 25, at Red Rose Inn in Cassville. Mrs. Galyen was born March 12, 1914, near Butterfield, the daughter of William Henry and Ollie Etta German Harris. She was a homemaker and a participant in the NAMPA Rodeo and National Rodeo. She married Henry Manford Beaver on February 15, 1934, and he preceded her in death on December 8, 1975. She married Mutt Galyen, who also preceded her in death. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Sylvester, Roy, Charles and Frank, and three sisters, Lillie, Cora and Opal. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. today, March 27, with Pastor Doyle Russell officiating, Burial was at New Salem Cemetery, Seligman, next to her first husband. Arrangements were under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. |
