Mrs. Nellie Vancil Galloway, wife of Charles Galloway, died at 3 o'clock Monday morning, Oct 2, of Peritonitis. She became seriously ill Friday and a physician and nurse came from Joplin to assist in caring for her, but nothing could be done for her relief.
Mrs. Galloway was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Vancil of Joplin. she was born in Joplin, April 12, 1880. She was married about years ago to Charles Galloway and until a year ago they made their home at Lamar. In October 1915 the family came to Monett where Mr. Galloway went into business. Mrs. Galloway leaves husband, two small children, father, mother and four brothers. Funeral services will be held at the Presbyterian Church at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, Oct 3, conducted by H. H. Koontz, pastor of the church. Interment will be in the Odd Fellows cemetery. |
