Text | F.M. Galloway, of Inverness, Montana, died at the St. Joseph hospital at 7:30 last night after a lingering illness from bladder trouble. Mr. Galloway was nearly 67 years of age and came to Lewiston about two months ago for treatment. He was subjected to an operation about ten days ago but the disease had made such inroads upon his system that recovery was impossible. He was a union soldier of the civil war and is survived by his wife and seven children, they being: Miss Grace Galloway of Inverness, Mont.; Mrs. John Westling of Lewiston; J.J. Galloway of Grand Forks, B.C.; M.M. Galloway of Inverness, Mont.; C.W. Galloway and T. W. Galloway of Champion, Alberta. Those at his bedside were his wife, Miss Grace Galloway, M.M. Galloway, and Mr. and Mrs. Wrestling (sic). The funeral arrangements will not be made until the arrival of other relatives. Note: Francis Marion Galloway is buried in Normal Hill Cemetery, Lewiston, Nez Perce, Idaho. Research Note: He was a son of Jesse Galloway and Hannah Sparks Coones, he was the husband of Melvine Henson. Francis Marion Galloway died on September 16, 1912 in Lewiston, Nez Perce, Idaho. |
