| Text | Elijah Allen "Lige" Frost, age 85, died Sunday, March 29, 2009, at St. Andrew's Place in Conway, AR. He was born Aug. 5, 1923, in Cassville, to Mary and Owen Frost. In addition to his parents, his wife of 65 years, Marguerite (Hurt) Frost, preceded him in death. He was a member of Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church in North Little Rock for 59 years. During World War II Lige served in the Army Air Corps and taught radar technology in Del Ray Beach, FL. He was discharged at the end of the war as a staff sergeant. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church in North Little Rock, AR. Rev. Richard Mitchell and Rev. John Alston will officiate at the service. A time of visitation and fellowship will follow the service in the fellowship hall. |
