| Text | B. Pauline Friend, 72, of Crane, did June 11 at 2:08 p.m. at Ozark Mountain Health Care Center in Crane. Mrs. Friend was born April 6, 1930, in Barry County, the daughter of Efton and Flossie Hunter Essary. She was a farmer. Survivors include one son, Bill Friend of Reeds Spring; two daughters, Debra Brewer of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and Regina Jay of Neosho; one brother, Dennis Essary of Monett; and two sisters, Aline Rainwater of Crane and Norma Kirk of Lampe. She was preceded in death by two sons, Charles and Kenneth Friend; three brothers and three sisters. Services were 2 p.m. today, June 13, at Crafton-Cantrell Chapel in Aurora. Burial was in Osa Cemetery south of Aurora under the direction of Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home of Aurora. Memorials may be made to Shriners Crippled Children's Hospital. |
