Text | Mrs. Rachel Jane Fogg, old and highly respected citzen, died at her home five miles south of Cassville. Nov. 8th . She was born in Indiana Jan. 22, 1862. She was a daughter of the late James Dotson. She and William S. Fogg were married by Esq. A. J. Lee, Sept. 12, 1882. To this union nine children were born, all living who are: Walter of Jasper, Texas, Alton of Pueblo, Colo, Hildrea Haygood, Bertha Eden, Jim, Frank and Mrs. Mary Church of near home. Lewis and Barney still living at home. She leaves twelve grandchildren and host of friends and neighbors. Mrs. Fogg was converted several years ago and united with the South Methodist church. Her husband, Wm.S. Fogg died April 15th of this year. She has lived at the old home where she died since she was eight years of age. Funeral services were conducted at the Corinth church on Saturday afternoon Nov. 10th by Chas Vanzandt. A large congregation of neighbors and friends gathered to pay a last tribute of respect to her memory. The body was laid to rest in the Corinth cemetery, under the direction of the Horine Funeral Service.
