Text Services for Frank Fogg, 90, Cassville Route 2, who died at 1:40 p.m. Friday November 1, 1985, at South Barry County Hospital after a long illness, were Monday at Axley's Culver Chapel.

Rev. Lawrence Shuey officiated. Burial was in Corinth Cemetery, south of Cassville.

Fogg was born January 6, 1895, in the Palsey community, near Cassville, and was a life long area resident. He was an Army veteran of World War I. He served on the Eagle Rock school board for many years. He was assistant superintendent of Roaring River State Park from 1948-1952.

A self-proclaimed "old man of the mountains" he was affectionately titled the mayor of Eagle Rock for a number of years.

During recent years he had been blind, living with his late daughter and her husband, M.A. Kammerlohr, Sr., in the Horner community.

He married Clara Evaline Farwell on September 28, 1919 near Eagle Rock. She died December 21, 1979.

Survivors include a son, Dennis Fogg, Whichita, Ks; a daughter Mrs. Ruth Watkins, Yellville, AR; a sister Mrs Mary Church, Cassville; 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren."

He was preceded in death by his daughter Maxine Fogg Kammerlohr. She is buried in the National Cemetery at Springfield, Mo.
