Text | Services for Ella Fletcher, 88, Santa Cruz, Calif., a former Washburn resident, who died at 10 p.m. Friday, March 26, at a Santa Cruz, Calif., hospital, after a long illness, were at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Williamson Chapel, Cassville. Ron Stough, minister, officiated. Burial was in Dent Cemetery, southwest of Washburn. Grandsons were pallbearers. Mrs. Fletcher was born April 20, 1893, in Washburn. She moved to the state of California in 1978. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Her husband, Percy Fletcher, died October 6, 1968. Surviving are three sons, Forman Fletcher, Santa Cruz, Calif., Donald Fletcher, Springfield, and Elzy Fletcher, Purdy; a daughter Mrs. Cleo Scott, Santa Cruz, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Ella Allred, State of Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. |
